This diminutive commercial office building, at 221 Minor Avenue, is surrounded by parking lots and shares a rear alley with the Cascade Natural Gas Corporation.
It dates from 1959 and may be part of original Cascade property but has a different facade treatment. This building will also be demolished for a seven-story residential separate from the building going up on the Cascade site.

It’ll be an unfortunate loss. I love the continuous row of windows and that bold cantilevering.

  2. Michael Houser says:

This building, completed in 1959, was the architectural office of the firm of Carlson, Eley & Grevstad.
