Mundane Mondays: Episcopal Bishop’s Office, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands

USVI, St. Thomas - Episcopal Bishop's Office 2

Today’s entry is submitted by Julian Preisler, who has a vast collection of photographs documenting synagogues across the country including many mid-century examples. His current project is documenting Holocaust memorials in North America. It’s not clear when this building dates from, but the textured rock wall with the Bishop’s seal evokes a nice mid-century vibe.

  1. Thanks for posting my photos. Much appreciated. Some of the more simple Mid-Century Modern structures have a lot of unique design elements.

Thanks for the post and links. Much appreciated. I’ll look through my pics for some other interesting, but simple MCM synagogues.   Julian
