This church sits directly across from Westminster Presbyterian Church and is dramatically different from its simple, contemporary neighbor. Christ United, with its v-shaped roofline and mix of masonry, glass and brick seems very much of its era. It was completed in 1963 to designs of architect A. Hensel Fink, primarily known as an ecclesiastical architect with buildings up and down the east coast and many in the D.C. area. The site also includes a ministers house at the rear of the site in the same distinctive mid-century style.
