Bay Ridge Branch, Brooklyn Public Library, Brooklyn, NYC

Located at the corner of Ridge Boulevard and 73rd Street in Bay Ridge is this well-maintained public library, which opened to the public on May 24, 1960. Light and airy, the building is a nice mix of brick, glass and masonry. It underwent a major renovation in 2004. But what makes it stand out are the blue enamel panels on the Ridge Boulevard side depicting what seem to be different branches of knowledge.
