Packet Building, Providence, RI

Along the waterfront in Providence at 155 South Main Street is this multi-use commercial building and garage from 1970. The center section on the front of the structure is covered in a metal screen.

The wings also have decorative vertical metal elements, horizontal bands of metal and stone, and red enamel panels around the windows.

The back of the building features a whimsical ship sculpture, perhaps referencing its location.
