Whitman Close, Brooklyn Heights, NYC

This retiring group of townhouses are surrounded by tall towers of housing on two sides and face a quaint, historic commercial strip at the back. The complex, including a parking garage and larger apartments, was designed by William Conklin, not Morris Lapidus, according to this recent in-depth post on Brownstoner.com.

  1. Interesting and attractive. The curved doorways… not very representative of MCM styles… give it an older feel.
