Nassau County Supreme Court, Mineola, NY

Located in Mineola, amongst a variety of mid-century buildings in a setting akin to an office park. It was constructed from 1962 to 1966 to designs by the firm Chapman, Evans, and Delehanty. According to a New York Times article of the time, the building is elevated on a podium to give it stature in this relatively flat area. The exterior materials are Vermont green granite panels and columns clad in white marble from Georgia. The article has several other specifics about interior details although it is unclear what remains today.
