Pictured is the 2nd District Police Station at 7359 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland. Unfortunately this building continues to be under development threat because the site it sits on is so valuable. It was built in 1961.

Engine 2 and Rescue Squad 1, Washington, DC

Here are a few pictures of a fire station complex in Washington DC at 500 F Street NW, corner of 5th Street. Opened in May 1979, it’s a bit outside mid-century but still has many of the same characteristics.
