St. George Ukrainian Catholic School, East Village, NYC

This school was constructed 1957-58 and is located on East 6th Street in the East Village in Manhattan. It was designed by Brother Cajetan J. B. Baumann, the same architect of this Manhattan church. The metal awning over the door is particularly interesting.

It’s located immediately behind the historicist design of the 1978 St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church.
