More Silver Spring, MD

Another great building courtesy of Jerry McCoy of the Silver Spring Historical Society. He posted about this recently on his website Silver Spring: Then and Again http://www.takoma.com/ssthenagain/. And his photo of this building is much better than mine which had some terrible shadows on it. The building was designed by architect Jack Cohen and constructed in 1962. It’s tucked away on a side street surrounded by a major concentration of mid-century low-rise commercial stores, offices and one amazing dry cleaners. More on that in the next post. Photo courtesy of Jerry McCoy 2009.
