Ulster County Office Building, Kingston, NY

Nestled among the Uptown neighborhood in Kingston, NY, the Ulster County Office Building at 244 Fair Street is seemingly out of place. The area is otherwise a fairly well preserved selection of 18th and 19th century structures, including the Senate House, dating to 1777. The office building was designed in 1963-64 by Augustus R. Schrowang and Augustus Schrowang Jr., a local Kingston firm.
